33.62 Miles - a good start to training
'Why is it that everytime we change direction, there continues to to be a headwind?' Training started in earnest with a 33 mile route around the Somerset Levels; conditions were reasonably sunny but windy and this caused the pace to drop at times on the more exposed sections of the route - out past Burrow Mump, round to Langport and back to Taunton. Despite the name, we climbed to over 250ft around Curry Rival, which was a good initial test for the bigger challenges to come.
